Kenneth Steward, aka “DJ KinDeezil” makes music for Jesus Christ and enjoys doing it. Deezil’s dad was a DJ during Deezil’s early years, so he grew up listening to everything from Kenny Rogers to Roger Troutman & Zapp. Kenney fell in love with music, all types of music, but his all time favorite genre is hip hop, and his creative specialty is making beats. Like many of us, Deezil spent much of his early years “doing his own thing,” but the Lord called him out of darkness and into His marvelous light. “The Deezil” surrendered his life and talents to God. Eventually he found himself in the position of creating a slew of what he referred to as “homeless beats,” in search of the right Christian “emcee” to bless them. One day, the Lord led Ken to contact brother tb, a distant cousin by marriage, regarding his homeless beats. Not knowing that tb had tried his hand at Christian rap, and was waiting on a sign from the Lord as whether God wanted to use him as a Christian rapper, Deezil obeyed the voice of the Lord. The rest is His-story in the making.
Apart from Eternal Life Music, Ken serves as the Youth Minister at Careview Community Church in Lansdowne, PA, and is licensed by his pastor, Paul James, to preach the Gospel on behalf of Careview.
First and foremost, however, Ken’s ministry is his wife Robin, and children, Monica, Maya, Samson and Benjamin.
